It's Fall Ya'll

Hey Everyone, welcome to my first blog post. Just like our weather, things are changing here at the cafe. As of last week September 13th we have new hours, our hours are 9am-4pm Wednesday - Friday. You can dine in or take out. We are serving some breakfast options, including breakfast burritos, quiches, our "Pan" cakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls and our new made from scratch bagels with a variety of cream cheeses and a honey butter. We are offering daily lunch specials that we will publish on our Facebook page and here on our website. we have a daily homemade soup and salad bar from 1130-230, filled with our homemade salads and fresh produce.

As always, we will be serving up our made from scratch pies and 99 cent coffee. Don't forget to order your favorite pie for your next special occasion or just because you LOVE pie as much as we do! Do we really need a reason to enjoy a fresh made from scratch pie 😁 We also have expanded into catering, so if you have an event coming up (big or small) please consider us for your catering needs, We can offer a wide variety of menu options, from pastas to fall off the bone ribs, pies, baked goods, and much more!

We also have our thrift/antique/junk items for your shopping convenience. You can stop in anytime we're open and check out our treasures. We'd love for you to stay and grab a bite, but if you just want to shop we totally appreciate that to.

I have an event this week, my husband and I are traveling to a cornfield near Des Moines (Colfax) to see Luke Bryan perform in concert and my cousin Troy from California just happens to be attending the same concert with one of his buddies he's visiting from Des Moines. I haven't seen him in years, Troy that it, well Luke Bryan either. LOL Should be a good time, I'll post some pictures next week.

As for the cafe, no worries, Steph, my cafe other half, will be watching over things at the cafe. Our menu will be a bit limited this week, but we will have the breakfast bakery items, bagels, quiche, and for lunch our homemade soup and salad bar. with a lunch special. And pies, we will always have pies!

Special Side Note- I know we have not been consistent with hours and days, but we are going to change that. Last year was a difficult one, and we are excited to see where the rest of this year and into next leads us. Thank you for your support and love as we continue to build our business and with God's grace gain some new customers, which we like to call friends. Thank you! If, you've made it this far, also a big thank you for reading my first cafe blog! 😘 XoXo
